On Wednesday, September 19th two events will be held at the New Pop-Up Space! (pictured below).
From 8:30 – 9:30am the South Division Business Breakfast Mixer will be held. The intent of this event is to bring business owners together to network and share their concerns. It is also an opportunity for us to present our work to date regarding the Corridor Plan and encourage their participation going forward. Our Ambassadors have been visiting businesses to notify them of the event and have received a lot of interest, so we hope this will be a well-attended event. From 6:00 – 8:30pm an Open House for the Pop-Up Headquarters will be held. Community Ambassadors and the Consultant Team will be on hand to lead people through the visual displays of the process and work to date, receive feedback, and answer questions. Steering Committee Members are encouraged to join. Food is being provided for attendees from Jamaica Dave’s (Chicken Curry and Jerk Chicken with rice) and El Globo (Tacos and Chips/Salsa).
